Project Area of Specialization Internet of ThingsProject SummaryIn this project, the main concentration is to manage the water dispensers by measuring the water levels. The system monitors the water dispensers by load cell and compare the level with threshold volume of the dispenser and then informs about the level of water left in the water dispenser via a desktop application to administrator.
The main goal of this project is to monitor the water levels and manage overall dispensers. It will provide faster, easier and cost effective management.
Existing water level management systems have own advantages and drawbacks in addressing the level. In this project, we will be overcome the problems and implemented an efficient Wireless water level management system.
Project ObjectivesOne of the major problems faced by most of the large institutions is maintaining drinking water in water dispensers at various places inside the institution.
We are intended to implement on Four Dispensers.
Project Implementation MethodDesktop Application:
It will be based on Real-time which uses JAVA or C# programming language.
Implementation details are:
- .The system begins with the Load Cell connected to a Water dispenser.
- The Load-cell checks the water level and sends signal to the Arduino micro controller.
- Then Arduino forwards data to desktop application by using Radio Frequency (RF) module.
- If the level is below, it generates notification on a application.
- In this system desktop application will be developed which is user friendly.
- Monitoring will be easy no need to manual supervision.
- Only authorized people can have access to the application.
- Only a single person can manage multiple water dispensers.
- Implemented water level monitoring solution.
- User-frendly desktop application.
- Final report.
