Smart Irrigation system is arduous and productive system of doing agriculture and growing fields in a supportable way. It is a system in which connected devices and different technologies together create an efficient way of farming. Smart farming majorly depends on IOT, eliminates and increase the productivity in every possible way. With the recent agriculture developments dependent on agriculture, Internet of Things has delivered huge benefits like efficient use of water, optimization of inputs and lots. IOT based Smart Irrigation system improves the Agriculture system by tracking the fields in real-time. With the help of sensors and interconnectivity it has saved the time of the farmers but has also allow farmers to do check and balance on Crops. It keeps the various factors under check and gives a crystal clear real-time observation.

In IOT-based smart Irrigation system, a system is built for monitoring the crop field with the help of sensors (humidity, temperature, soil moisture, soil PH.) and automating the irrigation system. The farmers can monitor the field conditions from anywhere. IOT-based smart Irrigation System is highly efficient when compared with the conventional approach. Smart Irrigation System can measure the amount of moisture in water, check humidity in soil, also it checks temperature. It also check pH value of soil and tells whether it is acidic or alkaline and also tells what pre-cautionary measures farmer should take to ensure the best possible growing conditions. In this methodology of farm management, a key part is its utilization and diffnt things like sensors, control frameworks, advanced mechanics, independent vehicles, mechanized equipment, variable rate innovation, etc. The products and services of Crop Metrics include soil moisture probes and so on. It will lower long-term costs of human labor to monitor and adjust manual checking system systems and also saves time. Arduino is an open-source electronics platform based on easy-to-use hardware and software. Arduino boards are able to read inputs - light on a sensor, a finger on a button, or a Twitter message - and turn it into an output - activating a motor, turning on an LED, publishing something online. You can tell your board what to do by sending a set of instructions to the microcontroller on the board. To do so you use the Arduino programming language (based on Wiring), and the Arduino Software (IDE), based on Processing. It uses 5W to start.
In this application we create a smart system using Arduino and different sensors for efficient environment which enable farmers to do smart farming and increase the productivity and quality. The sensors in this project can check humidity, temperature and moisture of soil. It can also check the pH value of soil and tells whether it is acidic or alkaline and what should famer do to overcome this situation. In this way farmers can come over these hurdles came across.
Farmers and agriculture researchers will get benefit from this system. This project help farmers to check soil condition. Farmer presence shouldn’t be necessary for check and balance on crops. Details of soil fertility will be available for farmer when needed. Researchers can get different experimental answers of their question from the analysis report of the system.
This System comprises of different sensors, automated system and a mobile app. Also we use C language for designing and commanding purpose. Arduino will be used for the automation of the system. Automate system will work using these tools and technology. Cloud base server will be used for saving the data and any changing detected by sensors with respect to time.
