Smart Hydroponic System
Our project is a hydroponic cultivation, an indoor cultivation based on hydroponics, a method used to grow plants using mineral solutions instead of soil. The general structure is made of aluminum. The structure through which the water circulates consists of PVC pipes cut and glued by hand, and consists of 6 levels through which the water passes. Each level has been drilled to place pots. Special pieces have also been designed so that the pots do not move and to support the lighting. In the lower part there is a tank in which the water of the system falls and through which different components can be added to the water. In case of having to drain the tank, we have a manual drain.

The device allows to control the state of the plants by sensing several parameters:
Then it uses different types of actuators to modify the state of the plants by irrigating them, activating lights or releasing nutrients:
The device periodically sends the information to a web server using WiFi. We have also designed an App that allows this data to be visualized from an Android device.
For preparing the Hydroponic Modular Structure the first Step to design the architecture of the Modular Structure.

The Second Step for building this project is to build the circuit diagram that commands the whole Hydroponic System:
Circuit Diagram and Simulation has been done on tool PROTEUS, Simulation is in process due to the Arduino MEGA’s coding in progress.

Where Time Set is the Complete Cycle time & Set Time is the time for water pump to circulate water in the system.

They are able to manage pH and nutrients to make sure plants are getting the exact nutrients they need. The systems are closed and recycle the water that is not used by plants. The ability to grow indoors allows farmers to control temperatures and lighting schedules to improve plant production. Systems can be designed to make use of vertical space and increase planting density. Hydroponics also allow us to create farms in locations where soil conditions are too poor to support farming, or space is limited and a farm otherwise couldn’t exist.
Arduino mega Collect all information about plants from different sensors and send it to web and mobile app. you don't need to worry about these things.

1. Arduino Mega 2560
Arduino Mega is used to control hydroponic sensor. Collect data from sensors and equators and send it to web and mobile application is also the responsibility of arduino. it also control water pump, grow light and fish feeder for the growth of plant.
2. pH sensor
A pH sensor helps to measure the acidity or alkalinity of the water with a value between 0-14. When the pH value dips below seven, the water starts to become more acidic. Any number above seven equates to more alkaline.
pH meters measure the voltage between two electrodes and display the result converted into the corresponding pH value. They comprise a simple electronic amplifier and a pair of electrodes, or alternatively a combination electrode, and some form of display calibrated in pH units.
pH sensor send different voltages to arduino and arduino change it to the pH level
3. Conductivity Sensor
Water conductivity sensors are used in water-quality applications to measure how well a solution conducts an electrical current. This type of measurement assesses the concentration of ions in the solution. The more ions that are in the solution, the higher the conductivity.
4. pH / Conductivity Board
pH/ conductivity board is used to make connection between sensors (pH and Conductivity) with Arduino Mega.
5. Temperature and Humidity Ambient Sensor
This Sensor is used to measure the air temperature (Room temp.) and humidity for better placement of hydroponic system.
6. Water Temperature Sensor (Waterproof)
This sensor is used to measure the temperature of water through which the plant gets its required nutrients.
7. Water Pump
Water pump is used to recycle the water from water tank to pvc pipes.
8. Grow Light
Grow light is the alternative of sunlight which is used fro photosynthesis process of plant.
9. Fish Feeder
Fish feeder is used to automatically provide nutrients into the water in required amount.
10. Wifi Shield
Wifi shield is used to connect arduino mega with web.
11. Bluetooth Module
Bluetooth module is used to make connecttion between arduino and mobile application..
12. Vistualizer (LCD 16x2)
LCD is used to display data about plant.
