Women are the primary contributors to every discipline, a competent figure to nurture the society yet their safety nowadays is aggravatedly questionable. In Pakistan, a country of more than 200 million people, violence against women is on the rise. It ranks 6th on the list of the most dangerous countries in the world for women. According to statistics compiled by the women’s rights group White Ribbon, between 2004 and 2016, 4734 women were sexually assaulted. More than 15,000 honorable offenses have been reported. Over 1,800 domestic violence cases and over 5,500 female abductions were registered. To assist this issue, a smart electronic gadget is proposed primarily for women’s safety. A fully automated electronic gadget is designed using IOT, equipped with GPS tracking and alert transmission. Upon the abnormality detection in anomaly such as heart rate, the wearable device would transmit an alert signal which would ensure the safety of women under any circumstance. This project will empower women in all classes of our society. It would not only empower women but also encourage them to take action against perpetrators who are constantly abusing women.
The primary goal of this project is to empower women of all walks of life. The project wouldn't solely empower women, however additionally encourage them to require action against culprits who perpetually harass women. The proposed idea for this solution will be fully equipped to give the victim an advantage over the persecutor. The wearable device will constantly track the location of the victim and if an abnormality is detected in the anomaly, the GPS location and an alert message would be transmitted FYP Proposal: Smart Electronic Gadget for Women Safety 4 to the SOS emergency contact. The fabricated wearable will strengthen a wide spectrum of women as well as increase awareness. Empowering women in the respective domain would encourage the victims to be more vocally sound and fight on the front foot.
The incorporated methodology for the respective project is IOT (internet of things) and cellular communication. The architecture of the project would initially standardize incorporation of the wearable to the mobile app/ web app, upon the inclusion a certain level of devices is set to be connected to an IOT enterprise. A bi-directional communication channel must be enabled in order to preserve a distinct communication. Enrich data streams with contextual information and generate composite signals for real time analysis of incoming and outgoing data. Dynamically dispatch critical IOT data between different data between different layers through networks such as wireless, 3G/4G, Bluetooth etc
We propose an idea of a unisex wearable, which would be able to empower both men and women. The proposed wearable device will be fully automatic and will activate when anomalies such as palpitations are detected, which is quite normal for anxiety and fear. The device will send a distress call to nearby respected authorities, organizations working specifically to ensure the safety of women, and call a designated emergency number. Upon the distress call the wearable would also automatically enable the hidden camera and a voice will serve as reliable evidence in a situation where the prognosis of such heinous event gets debar due to the lack of corroboration.
The integrated methodologies for a particular project are the IOT (Internet of Things) and cellular.
