Project Summary

We work on dummy data as for now, just to make our algorithm working. So, in starting there were few fruits and vegetables to detect and our project is Android based. It will help user to know about the fruits and vegetables that he/she wishes to find, who doesn’t know its name and information. This application will provide them a functionality to upload picture of any fruit and vegetables. It will find out fruit and vegetable are, what is its path (location) that indicates of missing items in the recipe.

Project Objectives

The aim of this project is to allow people or to make it easy for them to know about the fruit and vegetables with its pictures, as many people have pictures of fruit and vegetables but did not even know its name, so people can easily know about it and to make a app to perform this working for fruit and vegetable detection, also to use the learned knowledge about deep learning  so that it all get revised and practically applied.Our objectives are to deliver an efficient app to perform all this, with the help of deep learning techniques with minimum requirements.

Project Implementation Method

In this project we have use python Language. We will use it because there are multiple Deep learning techniques also, we will be using Anaconda IDE for this, because it provides usability to connect more libraries and multiples IDEs for the execution of our work.We use JAVA Language and XML for making GUI of our mobile Application and for that we will use Android studio IDE for this as it gives us so many built-in features to make a mobile app effectively and easily.

Benefits of the Project

So many people in the world loves to eat and explore different flavor that are special. And they do it, but to fulfill this keen interest they must first search each image of fruit and vegetables and then the information so that they could know, is it the fruit and vegetable I wanted? And when they are done with the collection of information, the problems faced is that, what will the path of that missing item by map and where it is located? Which is also a time taking process. This will reduce the time consumption of searching images of fruit and vegetables online and reading lengthy materials (recipe) to be aware of their information and then the way of it.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

The technical approaches for this problem are deep learning is image processing and training, testing algorithms also multiple image to train/testing. TensorFlow support CNN or keras and TensorFlow lite is support to android application.
