Project Area of Specialization Internet of ThingsProject SummaryAccording to research the ratio of road accident is approximately 70% and these people were become victim of death, only due to lack of resources and less efficient system while incidents. So to overcome on this major problem we are going to proposed system that alert emergency medical technicians (EMTs) and police station when an accident or any incidents has occurred. The main aim of this project is to inform nearby Ambulance centers (edhi, chippa) and Police stations in case of accident as rescue could arrange vehicle and serve their services to casualties as fast as possible. System could send the location of the site of incident, in this project GPS module is used to detect the exact location of motorbike. At the time of accident piezo sensor detects the heavy shock and Arduino sends the location of the vehicle to the nearby hospital, emergency centers and police station and also facilitate casualties to know hospital status either they entertain casualties or not as casualties were taking to another hospital. Smart Accident Detection System build by use of GSM and GPS technologies. GPS is used for taking the coordinates of the site of the accident while GSM is used for sending the coordinates to cell phones. To make this process all the controls are using efficient hardware.
Project ObjectivesAfter such number of surveys, we able to know that in our Pakistan country no single motorbike company has introduced system for their motorbike that do look after their customers when accident occurs at any geographic location although due to this lack of efficient solution number of people losing their lives and death ratio is being increased by road accident, so to overcome this problem and increase productivity of motorbike we are offering system Smart Accident Detection System which assist to aware that where accident has occurred with current geographic location it sends message to nearby hospitals, Emergency Centers and Police Station as through with help of system we able to find out place where actually accident occurred and rescue were able to immediately take them to hospitals and they become safe from major loss.
Project Implementation MethodOur project idea is to mainly save the human life ,through accident detection and and inform nearby hospitals as well as speed moonitoring for motorcycle .
we used these devices to implement the project which are Arduino uno , GPS Module, GSM Module , and Peizo electric sensor. when the sensor detect an accident it trigger the GPS the GPS from the satellite gives the information of both longitude and latitude. then to the GSM it gives both the satellite information about the accident and also about the location where the accident is occur. After that GSM sends this information passes to the nearby emergency centers,police stations and hospitals.
Benefits of the Project- very useful in case of motorbike theift.
- Low cost solution for motorbike position and status.
- imidiate medication will be provided to the accident victum in remote areas.
System will detect an accident through the piezoelectric sensor and generate an alert through the GSM Module and Through GPS Module track the geographical location of the motorbike and through Relay device to control the speed of motorbikes and we will make the dashboard for update about the accident alert which used the hospitals and edhi centers and also police stations. And through dashboard these centers will view the update about accident and after that these centers are performing their casualties as soon as possible.
