Project Area of Specialization Information & Communication TechnologyProject SummaryMatlab is widely used as an anlysis tool for both electrical and mechanical components of any system. It is also used in creating an environment and testing of a system in the created environment of its functionality and effeciency. This project deals with the simulation and analysis of a Quadcopter in an artificially created environment and further optimization of the Quadcopter from obtained results.
Project ObjectivesThis Project is designed in order to make a simulator for the Quadcopter and check the simulation using some artificial environment using some software. The analysis is to be carried out in order to check the validation of the simulator readings in real life by implementing the readings in an actual Quadcopter.
Project objectives include:
1. Literature review of Simulink in Matlab.
2. Making of a simulator for the given Quadcopter.
3. Checking the simulation using artificial environment.
4. Detail analysis of Quadcopter using the results obtained.
5. Optimization of the Quadcopter using the analysis done before.
This project is based on Quadcopter simulation. First of all the quadcopter has be to studied including the multi rotor dynamics being used in them. Then Simulink modules have to be studied which would then follow implementing the knowledge in making of a simulator. After the simulator is ready it would be connected with a virtual environment made by software that would allow the validation our simulator. Once the simulator is validated the detail analysis will be done using the simulation results obtained. In the end the optimization would be carried out using the analysis that we would receive from the analysis that we had alredady carried out.
Benefits of the Project1. Simulation of any Quadcopter would be possible.
2. Quadcopter would be worthy enough to be analyzed and optimized using the virtual environment prior to its orignal flight.
The expected deliverables of this project are:
1. Quadcopter Simulation modules knowledge
2. Simulation of given quadcopter.
3. Simulation results used for detailed analysis.
4. Optimization of given Quadcopter and virtually fly worthy.
