IoT based booking and monitoring system for goods transport industry with automatic weight measuring feature is an application to provide ease in a broad range of problems faced by drivers and manufacturers. Manufacturers can directly hire drivers through mobile application and the given drivers can easily be tracked. Meanwhile drivers can save the cost of weight measuring with help of portable IoT weight measuring device, which is provided to every driver and can be directly attached to driver vehicle.

Project Objectives

A solution for industrial transporters and manufacturers   as it includes user friendly UI/UX. So Manufacturers can contact or hire selected drivers easily. The application is very user-friendly and easily accessible for the manufacturers The purpose of  IoT based booking and monitoring system for goods transport industry with automatic weight measuring is to measure weight and monitor the readings directly on mobile application so that the Organizational transportation record is monitored.

Project Implementation Method

The project implementation is a little bit complex as it requires different types of technologies which are interconnected to each other. The mobile application will be developed on React- Native and will be available on both Android and IOS platforms.

Backend is on ASP.NET MVC web API as SignalR is convenient to use in runtime to transfer data from devices to application and application to application

As an IoT based, a simple aurdiono uno board and esp8266 wifi-chip will be used for tracking and order placing. Hardware also supports load cells which are use to measure weights of good.
