as we know the problem of going out to do shopping in these days of pandemic. we offer a solution so user can try and buy things online from home. we purpose an idea of trying watches, caps, shoes and eye wears on human body by using augmented reality. we are creating an app that will allow user to use his camera to see these things in reality and wear them to check how will they look in actual.
Project Objectives
- to reduce physical rush in malls or shops
- to enable user to choose items from home by testing them
- to encourage brands to offer this type of interface for their products
- user should first try and then buy without going physically to the mall.
Project Implementation Method
we are using unity to create 3D models of our produts and use them in augmented reality. we are using machine learning algorithms to detect face , wrists and feet of consumer so the product can fit efficiently.
we are also implementing this for webar incase we want to publish a website for our product. we are using google model viewer for webar and glitch to host it dynamiclly.
Benefits of the Project
- less people will be in malls because they can test and buy from home so pandemic condition can be controlled
- user cann choose as well as try product augmentedly to test how it looks on him
- if other brands will like it then it will be very profitable financially.
Technical Details of Final Deliverable
our final diliverable will be an app that will have different products in it. when user click on any item , the camera will open and it will start to detect surface where it wants to be placed.
after detecting the area like wrist, the model will be placed optimizingly.
