Secure Child is a Parental Control and Monitoring App. An app with which parents/guardians can keep track and monitor there children's mobile usage. Giving parents the the authority to a view there child's meaages, call history, browser history and restrict apps from being used with by setting time limits to them.
Project Objectives
The goal of this project is basically to let parents/guardians have more control over their children even when they are out of sight. Our project mainly focuses on the following objectives:
Application Management– To manage applications for child use.
Manage usage – To limit application usage by setting time limits and time quotas.
Monitor activities – To check, through alerts and reporting, youngsters’ activity on mobile.
Location sharing - Sharing child's location with the parent.
Project Implementation Method
The application is implimented in such a way that it has a single login activity for both parent and child, which leads to different activities based on login details.
Benefits of the Project
Kids can be more vulnerable to bullying and abuse through text messaging and social media sites. Secure Child allows parents to see just what messages their child is receiving, as well as who is contacting them through phone calls, and texts so thay they can be protected from any type of danger.
Technical Details of Final Deliverable
The application has a single login interface for both parent and child, which leads to different activity based on login user type. the parent's interface posts a get request to the server and the child's interface posts a push request to the server.
