We conducted a survey from stores in Hyderabad, from that survey we found that stores need a system that can do descriptive analytics of their data. Predictive analytics is growing need of stores. Most stores that analyze their data have hired either a company or a Data analyst/Data scientist. The proposed solution for that problem is:
A web application that work as “Software as a service”.
Users will upload their data of sales, and descriptive & predictive analytics will be performed automatically.
Based on those analytics system would predict the future sales of products.
Users profiles where they will manage all their data, analytics and generate reports from there.
So, the domain for our project will be: Data Science, Machine Learning, Web Application. And to develop this software we’ll be using following technologies: Python (Programming Language), Django framework (Python) ,Machine Learning algorithms ,HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MYSQL Database.
Some of already available online data analytics tools are: Datapine & VisualFree, but those tools doesn’t include predictive analysis feature.
1. Analysis

2. Design
In this phase, we’ll be designing the database, analytics algorithms, machine learning algorithms, business intelligence algorithms, UI prototype designing.
3. Implementation
During this phase, we’ll implement our algorithms on a programming language, integrate the modules.
4. Testing
During this phase we’ll test our system through various testing approaches.
5. Evaluation
In this phase, we’ll evaluate whether it fulfills our objectives or not.
Predictive analytics offers numerous advantages for organizations that recognize the inherent value locked within their existing enterprise data. Strategically, predictive analytics provides a quantitative foundation for rapidly identifying, objectively evaluating, and confidently pursuing new market opportunities. Tactically, predictive analytics identifies precisely whom to target, how to reach them, when to make contact, and what messages should be communicated.
The final deliverabe will be a web application that'll be available in two versions:
1. Online (Software as a service)
2. Offline
On both versions :
I. Users will upload their data of sales, and descriptive & predictive analytics will be performed.
II. Based on analytics system should predict the future sales of a products.
III. User profiles where they will manage all its data, analytics and generate reports from there.
