Rectenna Systems For RF Energy Harvesting
Project Area of Specialization Electrical/Electronic EngineeringProject SummaryOur project is divided in two parts:
1: Antenna
2: Rectifier Circuit
1: Antenna:
We are using microstrip patch antenna as our main source of electromagnaticc waves.
2: Rectifier Circuit:
Rectifier is subdivided in three parts:
i: Low Pass Filter
ii: Matching Network (Impedence Matching)
iii: Rectification
How the Project Will Work?
The Antenna will recieve RF waves from air and space and will convert them to AC. We then will filter the unwanted frequencies using LPF. Then we will be matching the impedence to attain maximum power transfer. After this we will convert the AC signal to DC to use it for required load.
Project Objectives- Design an Microstip Patch Antenna.
- Design a rectifier circuit to convert RF waves to use for DC purposes.
- Designing an array of antenna to analyze the increase in recieved power.
- Implementing the recieved power to a specific load.
- Designing Microstrip Patch Antenna
- Designing Rectifier Circuit
- Designing Array
- It is a clean source of energy.
- If we will be successful in achieving a good amount of power it will be a great achievment.
- It can be used on large scale to produce large amount of power.
- A Rectenna with single antenna.
- A Rectenna with antenna array.
