The purpose of the smartphone based attendance system is to computerize the traditional way of recording attendance and provide an easiest and smart way to track attendance in institutions nowadays, the most common device that have been come into account in marketing and business are smartphone devices. Moreover, it comprises lots of them running Android OS. Project Objectives

To develop a QR code attendance system to improve security

To develop an android application to provide accurate and efficient data

To develop an android app to generate the result quickly

Project Implementation Method

Iterative Waterfall Model will be used because requirments are clear 

Software Requirements:

• Android Studio
• Android OS 4.2+ (mobile)
• MS Excel

Hardware Requirements:

• Android Smartphone running Android OS version 4.0.3(API level 15)+

DBMS:

• SQLite Database

Graphics:

• Photoshop

• MS Word 2013

Benefits of the Project

The proposed android app  generate a QR code using the details of student such as roll number, student ID.

Our proposed application take the attendance with respect to the specific subject and generate the student attendance sheet as per attendance details
