The raw material "food waste" is collected, milled, pretreated thermally and then digested under anaerobic conditions. The end products of the process are bio-fertilizer and biogas. The bio-fertilizer samples are collected from the plant and are mixed with chemical or mineral fertilizers enhancing its potency for commercial use.

Technical Details of Final DeliverableWe aim to deliver an agro economical solution to the farmers fueling crop production through cheap hybrid fertilizers. The final product would consist of nutrients based on organic sources and inorganic mineral sources needed as soil amendements. Ultimately, this would reduce consumption of chemical fertilizers promoting soil's health.
