Project Area of Specialization Computer ScienceProject SummaryIn Our University (PAF_KIET), the problem is that there is no online system for points. The students manually register his/her point by point office and there is no location tracking for students, the students cannot track the location of the point where is the point right now and what time it takes to reach at student's stop. The problem is that student has to wait for a point if there is a traffic jam or any other issue the point gets late and student wait for point at his/her stop for so long. Another problem is Driver has to wait for the student if the student has late to reach at his/her stop. We want to provide a platform where students, Drivers, and point management are connected where a student can register their point online also track the location of his/her point and management can manage online registration, point fees, student card, notifications etc. This application help students and management to save their time. The driver doesn't need to wait for the student because the student can track the location of the point and reach at his/her stop before the point, Students doesn't need to wait for point. We will make an android application to connect drivers and students. The technology we use for this app is the android studio, Firebase as a database. This project aims to provide ease to students of points.
Project ObjectivesThe goal of this application is to provide a platform for the point management and the student to connect where a student can register their point online also track the location of his/her point and management can manage online registration, point fees, Drivers attendance, student card, notifications etc. Our System will mainly focus on the following: 1. Develop an application that connects Point management and students. 2. Build a database for storing the Student's information. 3. Build a database for storing Point admin information. 4. Provide a user-friendly graphical user interface to Student and management to see their roles. To achieve the first goal, we will use Android Studio. To achieve the second goal, we will make a database that will store the required details of Students. To achieve our third goal, we will make a database that will store the required details of Point Admin. To achieve the fourth goal, we will develop an android application using android studio.

Technical Details of Final DeliverableOur approach was based on the Agile Scrum development methodology, which can be thought of as a series of short, reflexive sprints, this seemed to be the most suitable method of development because of its flexible and non-rigid characteristics as opposed to the traditional waterfall approach. The development team worked as a unit to reach the goals. The main rationale behind the choosing of Scrum was because of the fact that this methodology accepts that the problem cannot be fully understood or defined at the beginning and must continuously refined, this seemed the best approach for us students who were keen to treat this entire development process as a major learning experience, we wished to gain new knowledge along with applying our already known concepts.
