Organizational Transport Service App OTSA
Project Area of Specialization Software EngineeringProject SummaryMany organizations especially universities have their own transport service for students. Many of students use their university’s transport service. They charge monthly fee. When new students join university, they don’t know about the universities’ vans routes, their fare detail etc. They require face to face communication with the admin/ driver for details and booking.
On the other hand, admin have to keep record of students/ vans/ drivers in heavy files need much time to retrieve one of them. During fare submission admin have to fill paper challan against every student that is very time consuming work. He is not able to mark attendance of regular students.
Regular students have to visit admin every month for fee submission by hand. They are not able to complaint against any driver or inconvenience.
OTSA is a system that will provide convenience to users by reducing their efforts. Student can pay online monthly fee, can mark online attendance through QR code. New students can search online for a particular van and book a van. Regular students can also give feedback about driver and can submit their query. Admin can find out fee defaulters and notify them, can also notify students in case of unavailability of van.
In case of wrong behavior, student can report a problem to admin. Feedback from every user will be taken for better experience.

Project ObjectivesThis product is making life easy for the students, their parents and Organization by giving them on-hand information about van. The main objective of develpoing OTSA is to get rid of following difficulties:
- Paper work burden
- Fee payment by hand
- No student attendance
- Face to face communication between admin and students
- New students face problem in searching particular van of their area and also in contacting
- In case of query no way to complain except face to face interaction
- No process of feedback
- No information is provided in case of unavailability of van
Objectives:
•To provide ease to students to book their vans from home and pay online fee.
•To provide security by hiring authenticated driver.
•To provide regularity by notifying students and taking attendance using QR codes.
Project Implementation MethodFirstly we found a problem and gathered requirments and developed our Software requirment and specification (SRS) document.
Then we have designed our system by developing vertical prototyping and Mock ups.
Then now we are implementing our project in android with java.
After that we will do testing phase in which we will do black box and white box testing.
Atlast we will deploy our project after complete testing.
We are using agile methodology to develop our project.
Benefits of the ProjectThis project will provide benefits to users as:
•Admin can understand the new student’s
location through Google map.
Reduce paper work burdon
•Student can book a van according to the
location and timings.
•Instead of manual payment, student will pay their fees online.
•Students will be able to mark their attendance by scanning the QR codes.
•Admin is responsible to manage drivers, vans and students.
•On every point or in case of any emergency, student will be notified by the system.
•Feedback of student is taken for more improvement.
•In case of any wrong action, student will report to admin.
Technical Details of Final DeliverableOur final product will be in the form of mobile application in the front end and on backend there will real time database that is firebase.
Front end : Android Application
Back end : Firebase database
