Project Summary

The online Tailoring system is a platform that will connect customers, tailors, and retailers. We are going to digitalize the traditional tailoring system. Customers can buy and stitch dresses from their homes through our app without physically visiting the tailors and retailers’ shops and will receive the order at the doorstep. In our app, we will onboard tailors and retailers. The customer will register and login into the app and there he can find a large variety of clothes from which he/she can choose and select a dress. He can also see the pricing of each dress. Then he can also look for a tailor and can select a tailor of his choice and also see his pricing. After that, the customer will make the order and he/she will get the stitched dress at the doorstep within the specified time.

Project Objectives

Our main objective is to facilitate customer so that they can order online for the dress and get stitched dress at their doorstep without going physically to tailor and retailer shop. Our aim is to connect the customer with the tailor and retailer through the online mod and reduce the gap between them.

Project Implementation Method

For implementing our project, first we will conduct a customer survey. From which we will assess what are the needs of the customer and what are difficulties faced by the customer. We will do segmentation of the customer and we will identify what will be our early adopters. Then we will approach the tailors and retailers. Based on the output of the above step, we will design the mockup for our app. Then using Flutter, we will code the front end of our app. After that we will use SQL and API’s for providing backend to our app. In the final step, we will test our app and will deploy it on the play store and app store.

Benefits of the Project

Our project will facilitate customers, tailors as well as retailers. Our project will give benefits to customers such as saving time, saving money, saving energy, finding and approaching trustable and expert tailors, and completing order tracking systems. Tailors will take benefits like digital searching and record-Keeping, saving time, increasing the number of customers and Retailors will be advertised through our app and also their customers and sale will be increased.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

We will use the latest and most cutting-edge technology Flutter to code our app. The main purpose of this technology is as it takes a single code base to run and launch the app on different platforms such as android, IOS, web, and Windows. We will, use SQL as a database and will work on node js for APIs. Our final deliverables will be android and IOS app.
