Online Admission Portal is a Platform that allows students to stay in touch with all the universities across the country at the same time through a single platform. Through this Platform student will stay in touch with all the dates, i.e. Admission opening dates and closing dates. Students will directly apply to all universities of their choice through this single platform instead of applying through different websites of different universities. Online Admission Portal (OAP) is an App based project that will focus Education Industry. Many toppers are not updated timely about the admissions and the subjects offered by different universities which results in mental stress and the loss of their precious time. Students also don’t need to search different websites of different universities but they can apply for admission in universities of their choice through a single mobile application. This results easiness for the students to apply for admissions and get updated by the universities about the programs, deadlines, eligibility criteria for each program. This platform will facilitate the students by providing them online form instantly. Notification facility will be provided to the students/users which will help them to catch up with the dates at the right time.

Project Objectives

Online Admission Portal is an App based project that will focus on Students and University requirements that is if a student wants to apply for admissions across the country so the functional requirements are the following: Student will create an account and will get access to our mobile application. After getting access to our application student will be able to search universities and can apply to his chosen university according to the eligibility criteria provided by the university according to the respective desired program. Student will be able to create new application, view submitted application, update the submitted application and can view approved application for admission. Online admission portal is an app-based project that will not only focus on students but will also focus on universities. Universities will provide us detail, eligibility criteria against the respective programs. Universities will get the applications of admissions for all students through our app. School of Systems & Technology, University of Management and Technology, Lahore Administration plays a vital role in smooth running of the App which includes managing, securing and ensuring the responsiveness of the App and reporting it to the team timely. Non-functional requirements include: Performance for example responsive time, throughput, utilization, availability, maintainability, reliability. Non-functional requirements include system behavior, features and general characteristics that affect the user experience.

Project Implementation Method

We will be making a mobile application for Online Admission Portal and the tool through which we will be making this App is the Android Studio. The language we will be using for our project is Flutter/Dart Language. Our main objective is to implement this type of good facility for students in our country too as like in others countries, i.e. UCAS in UK. Every year students need to apply in universities across Pakistan, so we are providing this facility as OAP will provide easiness to apply for admissions in different universities through a single platform. Like UCAS, OAP is an online admission portal in Pakistan that create opportunities for the students as they will be well aware of the universities admission’s deadlines, programs offered by the universities and eligibility criteria for each program.

Benefits of the Project

This project targets Education industry, OAP Online Admission Portal allows students to stay in touch with all the universities at the same time. Through this platform there no need to visit different websites as students can apply for admissions to their desired universities from one platform across the country. Students will be provided by the overview of the university, introduction, all programs offered in each university, eligibility criteria for each program, deadlines to apply for admissions for each university. Online Admission portal will provide full access to the students to all the universities in their city and out of the city. Admission in the pocket facility will be provided to the students which will allow the students to stay updated all the time. Time is Money, so this App will make every student rich. Our goal is to provide easiness to apply for admissions in different universities through a single platform.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

Online Admission portal will provide full access to the students to all the universities in their city and out of the city. Admission in the pocket facility will be provided to the students which will allow the students to stay updated all the time. Time is Money, so this App will make every student rich. Our goal is to provide easiness to apply for admissions in different universities through a single platform.
