Pakistan is facing serious environmental problems since the beginning of the past two decades, although NGOs and Government departments have taken initiatives to stop environmental degradation but the problems are getting worse day by day. There is a lack of communication between the citizens and the authorities. Whether it is a Sewage overflow, Damaged streets, Garbage/Solid State Waste, or a Greenery ratio there is no such medium to counter these issues. Our targeted audience is patriotic citizens of Pakistan who has a smartphone or a smartwatch. We’re introducing a product that will be used as a medium to report/inform the daily life environmental issues (i.e. sewage overflow, damaged streets, and garbage) to respective authorities i.e. the Nazim/Mayor of that area or the Municipal Committee with an attractive, minimal and easy-to-use app.

Project Objectives

• Reporting daily life pollution problems to the respective authority.
• Reporting issues by Category,
  • Sewage water issue
  •  Damaged streets/roads 
  • Greenery ratio
  •  Solid-state waste/Garbage 
• Reporting can be made by means of
  • Automatically geolocation tracking
  • Uploading images of the affected area
• In order to maintain the interest of the users we’ve gamified the whole procedure, there will be a reward for following at least reporting one issue daily (leveling up the user by giving in-app coins)
• We’ve also incentivized the users concerning their levels. Users will be rewarded with discount coupons, internet packages, and much more!

Project Implementation Method

While creating this product we will go through these stages

A. Understand Problems:

• User: what problems are they facing? 
• Brand: how does the project, aligns with the brand’s mission and goals?

B. Research & Analyze:

1. instead of assuming users needs, research for the tangible piece of evidence by
   • 1:1 interviews, Surveys or Questionnaires.
   • laying out the research visually by creating the User personas: analyzing the users’ age, gender, social status, career, location, technologies they are familiar with and other quantitative data
2. Researching the latest market trends
3. Planning the business strategy

C. Design

1. Create diagrams: Use cases, Entity-relationship, User-flow diagrams
2. Using those diagrams create
   • Wireframes: Low fidelity
   • Prototype: high fidelity

D. Build:

1. Start developing the app, using Flutter, Dart and the Web using Html & CSS, CodeIgniter (PHP)
2. Implement the functionality, using Firebase for app and MySQL for web

E. Maintenance & Evaluation:

1. Usability testing,
2. Identify improvements,
3. Gamification of the process
