Mobile Shop Management System

Project Area of Specialization Computer ScienceProject Summary

One of the most common challenge in owning a mobile shop is to make sure they don't deal in stolen mobile phones. There is no available product or software to see if the mobile phone that is came for sale is stolen or not. So, whenever a mobile shop owner deals in stolen phone unintentionally, if a stolen phone is identified by the police the mobile owner along with the shopkeeper will be declared as a suspect for the crime so the shop owner will be punished for dealing in stolen phones even though he/she didn't know it was a stolen phone. So, we are developing a product that can identify if a mobile phone came for sale is stolen or not.

This product also features Mobile Shop Management that will manage Selling/Purchasing and show Profit/Loss for the Mobile Shop.

Project Objectives

Mobile Shop Management system will ensure that Mobile Shop owner can manage Selling/Purchasing and Profit/Loss of his mobile shop. It can also generate centralized stolen report of a mobile phone that came for sale so that anyone can identify that he/she is not buying in Stolen phones.

Project Implementation Method We will be using OOP (object-oriented programing) design methodology as this application is applicable to the real environment. Through OOP system will provide the functionalities like reusability, data redundancy, and improves the quality of the system. Benefits of the Project

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

User Interface

The user interface of the mobile shop management system will be inspired by the latest UI designs techniques. User interface will be soft, simple and easy to understand for the common people. It will be designed according to standards used by every UI. It will have a back button which will navigate users to the recent page. It will have a menu which will navigate users all over the portal. It will have a flexible and eye-catching design that will encourage its user to use this portal more and more.

System’s GUI will be designed with:

  1. Adobe XD, Adobe Photoshop (Initial design structure).
  2. HTML (web).
  3. CSS, Bootstrap (web).
  4. JavaScript, PHP (web).
  5. Flutter (Android).

In that way we can expect our software to be designed according to what we are looking for and will exceed our expectations.

Since the user interface environment shall be organized and become more clear during the development phase as a flexible, easy-to-update, dynamically configurable system, which will be able to access mainly values stored in the database, it is not necessary to define the layout and hierarchy of panels at requirement level. Discussions with potential users, Supervisor and coordinator during the development phase will suggest how functions have to be grouped and how data have to be displayed to achieve the best UI structure.

Software Interface:

The mobile shop management system will mostly interact with its database. Its connection with database will be:

  1. It will store purchasing data given by shopkeeper
  2. It will store selling data given by shopkeeper
  3. Mobile shop management system will retrieve selling and purchasing data from a database to calculate profit and loss.
  4. Database will receive stolen Mobile’s IMEI number from the user and store it.
  5. Whenever an IMEI number is entered on the mobile shop management system to check for a stolen report the database will compare this Number and will send a stolen report back into the Mobile shop management system.
