All the constant classes, quizzes, assignments, exams quickly begin to take their toll and they're left disorientated, with no one in sight to turn to or even each other depending on their sociability.
What if there was a mandatory community hub that brought all these under one social platform; a University Community App. With this “KIETiSocial” the students will be given a platform where they have all the necessary information of their particular university alongside additional services.
The project fulfills the following objectives:
- Provide a unified academic experience.
- Make the obtainment of university-related information more convenient.
- Allow discussion and provide guidance.
- Have a platform that promotes socialization in a university-context.
There will be sections such as Lost and Found, Class Timings, Location of Rooms, Course Reviews, Books Recommendations, Recommended Course Videos, Cafeteria Food Reviews, Events etc. Students will be able to register with their Student ID after being verified by the university. Few main features of this app would include things like Open Discussions where any student can post about a particular topic and get answers from other students or faculty, Office Timings of Faculties along with their availability will also be shown on this app. A chat bot feature is also included.
