IoT based smart monitoring of load using hybrid sources solar and electricity
Project Area of Specialization Artificial IntelligenceProject SummaryControlling and installment of solar panels in power lab is the proposed idea of our final year project that will address the issue of shortage of electricity in our country and will also provide an efficient control over battery levels. The proposed idea will not only provide sufficient amount of solar energy but will also provide the facility of controlling the load through Internet of things (IoT). The controller will also be used in-order to switch or control the load and this will facilitate preventive maintenance, battery levels, and the limited amount of energy.
Project Objectives1: Be able to Install the solar panels.
2: Be able to provide electricity(renewable energy) in Electrical power lab.
3: Be able to switching our system by using controller.
4: Be able to monitor the battery levels/backup by using IoT.
Project Implementation MethodLiterature review and surveying the all proposed components
Making the block diagram of the project
The installation of solar panels will be done in Electrical power lab
Write the code on Arduino and interface all the relays and bypass switch with Arduino
Monitoring of the whole system through Internet of Things (IoT)
Benefits of the Project- It covers all the aspects by providing solar energy as well as the monitoring of battery levels.
- The data will be provided on the LCD screen through IOT.
- The most important benefit of this project is that we are giving electricity to our University’s power lab.
- It can be monitored from anywhere because this project lies in the modern trend of IOT.
- Bypass switches are present there for controlling (manually).
- The output can be seen through a laptop/smart-phone.
- By using solar energy as the backup source we can save some amount of electricity.
- CT and PT are also present in-order to calculate the current and voltages so we can control the load according to the condition.
