Project ObjectivesMonitoring and controlling of three phase induction motor.
Project Implementation MethodA three phase induction motor is connected with the Arduino microcontroller for the monitoring and control purpose. Some sensors including voltage sensor, current sensor, speed sensor, temperature sensor, vibration sensor are used to monitor the condition of Induction Motor. A speed controlling circuitry is used to control the speed of I.M. The ESP32 Module is used to get the online data of the system operation on webpage for the online monitoring and control purpose.

ARDUINO UNO
Arduino/Genuino Uno is a microcontroller board based on the ATmega328P (datasheet). It has 14 digital input/output pins (of which 6 can be used as PWM outputs), 6 analog inputs, a 16 MHz quartz crystal, a USB connection, a power jack, an ICSP header and a reset button. It contains everything needed to support the microcontroller; simply connect it to a computer with a USB cable or power it with a AC-to-DC adapter or battery to get started
ESP8266(WIFI MODULE)
ESP8266 wifi module is low cost standalone wireless transceiver that can be used for end-point IoT developments.ESP8266 wifi module enables internet connectivity to embedded applications. It uses TCP/UDP communication protocol to connect with server/client.
CURRENT SENSOR
In electrical engineering, current sensing is any one of several techniques used to measure electric current. The measurement of current ranges from picoamps to tens of thousands of amperes. The selection of a current sensing method depends on requirements such as magnitude, accuracy, bandwidth, robustness, cost, isolation or size. The current value may be directly displayed by an instrument, or converted to digital form for use by a monitoring or control system.
VOLTAGE SENSOR
A voltage sensor is a sensor used to calculate and monitor the amount of voltage in an object. Voltage sensors can determine the AC voltage or DC voltage level. The input of this sensor is the voltage, whereas the output is the switches, analog voltage signal, a current signal, or an audible signal
TEMPERATURE SENSOR
A temperature sensor is a device used to measure temperature. This can be air temperature, liquid temperature or the temperature of solid matter. There are different types of temperature sensors available and they each use different technologies and principles to take the temperature measurement.
3 PHASE INDUCTION MOTOR
A three phase induction motor has a stator and a rotor. The stator carries a 3-phase winding called as stator winding while the rotor carries a short circuited winding called as rotor winding. The stator winding is fed from 3-phase supply and the rotor winding derives its voltage and power from the stator winding through electromagnetic induction. Therefore, the working principle of a 3-phase induction motor is fundamentally based on electromagnetic induction.
