Project Summary

This project, IOT based monitoring and control of garbage carrying vehicle, can be implemented in smart cities in order to clean the streets and cities easily and cheaply. in this project we can propose a system in which all the garbage drums and garbage carrying vehicles can communicate with each through a centralized process. the level of drums as well as vehicles will be detected automatically and the location of vehicles can be traced so that the vehicles can provide specific route to each other.

Project Objectives

to provide a system that is completely automatic and selfcontrolled.

to implement a system through which a sustainable and clean invironment can be produced

to propose a proper infrastructure for the collection of waste from the cities

to clean the cities easily at low cost.

to make society free from some toxic gases and dieases that are produced due to garbage.

Project Implementation Method

first of all we interface sensors with a micro controller and some gps modules as well as iot modules through which data from drums can be detected, collected and saved at the data base. All the vehicals and garbage drums can coummunicate with eachother trough a cpu (RassberryPi). this central system control all the information from the garbage drums and as well as from garbage carrying vehicals and then on the basis of that information it can send message to vehicals that at what location the garbage drums are about to be filled in order to drop the garbage from them.

Benefits of the Project

it can make the society clean and dieases free 

this system is more efficient for society to colllect the waste

it can be cheaply for Munspality to collect the garbage

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

Raspberrypi 3 and atmega 128 microcontrollers are used process the different sensors.

sensor HRC 004 is used to detect the level of garbage in the drums and vehicals .

GPs 6mu2 module is used to detect the position of vehicals.

GSM 009 is used to send the message of filling of drums to the vehicals

IOT esp232 Module is used to send data to the Data base.
