Project Area of Specialization Internet of ThingsProject SummaryThe main objective of this project is to make a fire detection system using Zigbee communication system. The hardware designed in this project will mostly be installed in the forest. The system consists of three main parts i-e Sensor Node, Main control Unit and Mobile Application. Sensor nodes are consisting of temp, humidity sensors, Arduino and Zigbee modules. Sensor node after detecting the fire will transmit the signal to Main control unit. MCU consists of Zigbee module, Arduino and NodeMCU. After receiving the signal, the MCU will upload it to the cloud. Then the concerned person with the Mobile Application installed on his phone will get the notification of fire occurrence.
Project Objectives- To detect the occurrences of fire in the forest as early as possible.
- By detecting the fire early 65% of the damage done by forest fire can be avoided.
- To reduce the use of man power in forest.
- To make a cost effective fire detection system.

- Making mash-network of Zigbee communication protocol.
- Designing of Sensor Nodes.

- It can detect fire and inform us in just seconds.
- Unlike other communication protocols Zigbee communication is very secure.
- Its cost effective.
- It is expandable.
- The modules used in this project can easily be replaced.
3 sensor nodes, 1 main control unit and a mobile application will be delivered at the end of the project. Temp, Humidity sensors, arduino and NodeMCU are the important parts used int hardware. The design will be scalable and can be upgraded as per desire.
