Project Summary

Today, the major cities of our country are mostly affected by criminal activity. Most crimes such as street crime, terrorism and other unwanted activities are gradually increasing. After committing criminal activities, the offender escapes easily. The power of the police and other security agencies is not enough so the police and other security agencies cannot respond quickly to the culprit. The police do not have a platform that will help police monitor and apprehend the offender.

We are developing a desktop software that will help police find the victims through cameras located in Safe City and other public places. The software will be based on face dedication through cameras placed in different places.

Project Objectives

Our project will be based on a desktop application. In this application will try to help police find the criminal and other wanted persons through face detection.
This will help the police and secuirty agnecies to quickly arrest the wanted criminals.

Our project helps police find the criminals and other suspects by sending timely alerts and information of the criminals.

Project Implementation Method

In this project “AGILE” model is used to develop the software.

Hardware:

Cameras, DVR, Main server,Connectors,Ethernet

Software:

Python, Matlab, Microsoft visual studio.

Benefits of the Project

Due to increasing population it becomes very difficult to ensure security services especially in big cities. Especially street crimes are increasing now a days and it is becoming very difficult for the security agencies to ensure security in the towns. There is no advance technology to reach the crime scene, so crime is constantly on the rise. In many cities, crimes like robbery, kidnapping and terrorism are increasing.

Our project helps police find the criminals and other suspects by sending timely alerts and information of the criminals. When the police catch the criminals in a timely manner, it reduces the crime rate. Application of proposed system will help in improving security situations in the cities and other public places where system will be deployed.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

. The software will be based on face dedication through cameras placed in different places. There will be a main server and some small servers in different places of the city. The small servers will be controlled by the main server. 

Police will declare a victim and enter the information of victim in the software.

Face dedication through cameras in run time and previous records.

Generate notification if find the victim. Message will be sent to the main server.

The main server generate a massage to the police near to the victim.

Server sent information of new added suspect to the small servers which are connected to it.

The server keep the record of victims and generate a monthly report.
