The field of entomology is concern with the study of insects that could be either beneficial or harmful. Beneficial insects include; predators, parasitoids, productive insects, pollinators, etc, whereas, harmful insects include; crop pests, etc. In crop both harmful as well as beneficial insects are found simultaneously, and they must be recognized to make decision whether insect present on crop is harmful or beneficial, to achieve this the grower must have kind of application that could help him immediately. The wrong identification of insect may lead to the crop damage and ultimately low yield. The identification key system may be generated for a particular crop that must be user friendly with local language option. The grower will need to go to the available web program? select crop ?select option, young or adult ?select number of wings present ? ;further he will need to follow the options till he reaches at his required insect. After reached at target insect the grower will be able to view all the information of that particular insect, if in case of harmful, the control measure will be displayed. Most of the software if we adopt those, which are English version, In fact our farmer needs a software that must be in a local language.

1.to save crops from pests.

2.to provide a application in local language that can help our farmers..

Project Implementation Method

it is a android application.we will use android studio software. we will use java xml. we will connect database. for database we will use sqlite. for conectivity we will  buy suitable cloud.

Benefits of the Project

 this application will be in local language so that the farmers can easily identify pest on thier fiels. insects can be benificial and hanrmful. all insects are not harmful. throgh the application if farmer recognize the insect on his field is not harmful then there is no need to spray the crop with pesticides, it means it will save his money, saving money means increasing profit.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

enter the software, the home screen will display district. grower will need select his crop district .now the grower will need to select crop.for example cotton..now the pictures of various insects will appear,now grower needs to select insect he is looking for.then the solution of that insect and all information about that insect will show on the screen.. the grower will also abble to send his pictures or may request visit to the experts linked with this software for example agriculture officer of the area.
