In our daily life food is the basic necessity of each and every person, everything we eat have some pros and cons of it but people are un aware about that due to which people faces many health problems that came up as surprise in future. They don't even think weather its haram or halal or is it good to intake in their body or not. Those who want to know whether they should take that floodable item or not they don't have any source to know about it. Mostly people don't even see the ingredients on the back of the product.

To tackle this problem we have come with an idea of "foodie detector" so that people could use this Application to find weather they can use that product or not. Basically the main target of our application is that weather the food or a product we are having is haram or halal or is it healthy to intake or not.The application will scan the products barcode through your smart phone's camera and will tell you if its halal or haram for you or if its healthy or unhealthy for you.

Project Objectives

The objective of Foodie Detector is to spread awareness in people about haram halal items they are eating. This application will also provide the information weather the food is zabiha or non-zabiha, it will tell you about each and every ingredient used in the food item weather is it good for your health or not or is it allow you to intake that ingredient in your body or not. Users can easily identify that the food is good for them or not by using this application.

Benefits of the Project

In existing applications there are very limited with their features or the benefits, such as they only detect the product and only tell us about whether the product is halal or haram but in our application with detection of halal or haram ingredients we also share the details of the food for example their expiry date , harmful ingredients in it and toxic nontoxic elements.

in our application we not only detect the product if product is missing in our application with the help of the ingredients we can easily get all the details of the items or in such case if both ingredients and products are not available in our database we will redirect it will Google so the user can easily check the details of an item while using application this feature will help user to be more flexible for their concerns.in our application another added feature is if the the ingredient is haram it will highlight it as red if it's halal it will highlight as green and the harmful products will highlight as orange .
