our project is based on image processing as the system first sense the flowing product on the conveyor belt under the U-shaped wooden box with illuminations. The IR sensor is attached to the raspberry pi 4. The sensor sends the signals to the pi camera and the pi camera captured the product from above, where the product's expiry date is written.
Then the captured image is processed by applying algorithms and Ai techniques whether the expiry date is readable and logical or not. and then it will generate output/label. The worker will discard the expired product and fresh products will flow further, the same case is with printing and designing.
The main objectives/features of our project are as follows:
we are using raspberry pi operating system so we can easily manage our system physically. with the help of pi camera attached with raspberry pi 4 we will take image at run time and process it through AI techniques and algorithms (not using any library from internet) to find rather the printing of our expiry date is readable, logical or not. we made a conveyor belt and attache it with DC motor. A u shaped wooden box is placed at the center of belt to which our camera and our device is attached. everything is self made and we use lights under wooden box for illumination and good results.
the benefits of our project is as under;
1) it helps the manager of production companies to produced mamimum product without any rejection of any product from market.
2) this system helps at commercial level to check the expiry date on product at utility or medical stores and manage to record the product biodata.
3) it is latest time saving device.
4) works excellent at production level like juice industries,medicines etc.
the final delivery of our project takes place on August 2022 because maximum work has been done. we are trying to resolves some of our errors. it will be deliver soon in proper hardware and software form as a product.
