Human Crowd Control System
Our proposed work is to develop a system for human crowd control using OpenCV, Machine Learning and Python. This system will count humans through face detection.This human counting will be used for different purposes. This system will be used in the crowded places like Shopping Malls, Stadiums,Tourism places etc to control the impact of covid-19 pandemic.There will be maximum limit for number of people entering a certain place.There will be an alarm set up if a the number exceeds maximum limit.
Our project will produce counting report of a humans through face detection which can be used for multiple purposes e.g.a certain no of people should be enter a specific place during pandemic to control the impact of covid-19 , number of people in a stadium, number of tourists visited a museum and many more.
For our project, we will use Python as our programming language. We will use OpenCV library which is mainly aimed at Real Time Computer Vision and Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) algorithms.For integrated development environment(IDE), we will use Pycharm.
Our project will benefit different departments to achieve their counting purpose e.g our project can be used in BRT stations and buses that certain number of people will enter a bus and an alarm will be set up when that number exceeds a maximum limit.
