Now a day’s information technology plays a great role in the different fields. The help of modern technology is a welcome step for everyone. People who face difficulties in purchasing groceries because the purchasing of groceries is a very important and regular part of every home. So, we need to build a grocery shopping application to facilitate grocery items. People can take full advantages of this application. This mobile application is developed to facilitate online grocery items are purchase and to confirm the order. In this application we are trying to make customer life easier by some methods. Our application consists of two users that are Customer and Admin. It is necessary to confirm a technological appropriate, proper, manage, useful, and environmentally changeable and customer friendly application implementing by this system using of Android studio, XML, JAVA and SQLITE/Firebase.

Project Objectives

1. This application can be available at a local store/shops.
2. This application is to save time and complexity of work at stores, shops and marts etc.
3. Using this application, a local shopkeeper can expand business.
4. This application easy to use because it is only android based application.
5. This application interface is user friendly.
6. This application will increase the profit and productivity of the product.
7. This application to make sure the item quality is better.

Project Implementation Method

Two people are playing an important role in this application. They are:

1. User
2. Admin

User:

First of all, User will login and register and then check the categories, sub-categories of groceries. User will select the products from the list and will, do add and remove product from the cart at any number of times. At the end, the user will be done the order.

Admin:

Admin will be able to see all registered customers on the application. Admin will create list of all grocery categories, sub-categories and products for customers. Admin will update unlimited products with images and other details. And he will set the delivery timings, day to allow the customer to choose preferred time slot.

This application is developed using Android studio, XML, Java, SQL Lite, Adobe photoshop, MS office.

• Android studio is software for develop application
• XML is used for frontend design
• Java is used for back end design
• SQL Lite is used to create database
• Adobe photoshop is used for logo designing
• MS office is used for documentation, proposal.

• Computer system with minimum 4GB RAM, Intel core, 1.7 GHz processor, 64bit operating system,
