Introduction

ProCare is the android based application designed and implemented for people’s routines is becoming hectic day by day because of which people do not have enough time to go through the long procedures for their routine medical check-ups or visit a doctor in case of diseases such as diabetes, Influenza, Asthma, Fever and many more, only because every person thinks like “It’s just fever or some dieses take medicine (mostly used) have some rest and you will be fine soon instead of visiting a doctor and waiting several hours and the most important being physically present there”, In emergency cases, we have seen that sometimes there are low chances to get appoint or consultant with a doctor. Moreover, nowadays most people spend most of their time on the internet they will find themselves at great ease if they can get medical help from their doctor from anywhere just by using their mobile app, so we came up with the idea ProCare of where users can have multiple facilities according to their need, ProCare does provide doctor appointments, Medical reports record-keeping facility, we allow the user to find a blood donor in case of any blood emergency, Emergency Doctor consultant, Ambulance Service, Research-based nutrition diet.

Background

The mobile application provides ease to the user and helps users accordingly. An application that is built for a single purpose is commonly left unused because it does not ease further to the user. So our ProCare team decided not to restrict users to perform any single facility, rather users can have multiple facilities it could restrict users to stay within an application for more facilities relatively than go through multiple platforms because ProCare provides multiple facilities within a single platform.

The main aim is to develop a single platform to provide all facilities in a single app.

• Keep the record of Medical Reports no need to keep hard copies anymore. Diagnoses became easy on behalf of previous patient Medical Reports.

Project Implementation Method

Agile Methodology

The Agile methodology is a way to manage a project by breaking it up into several phases. It involves constant collaboration with stakeholders and continuous improvement at every stage. Once the work begins, teams cycle through a process of planning, executing, and evaluating. Continuous collaboration is vital, both with team members and project stakeholders.

•The project ‘ProCare’ is based on the database, Cloud Firestore is a NoSQL, document-oriented database. Unlike a SQL database, there are no tables or rows. Instead, you store data in documents, which are organized into collections. Each document contains a set of key-value pairs which is one of the best to keep our information.

•This project uses Flutter as the front-end which is a framework of dart and has connectivity with Firebase as Back-end and firebase as a database.

Benefits of the Project

There is a Doctor’s appointment, keeping medical reports record, Blood Donor, Ambulance services, Emergency Doctor apps are rarer in Pakistan, and it is hectic to go through different platforms to get facilities. The main purpose of this project is to come up with a single platform to provide all facilities in a single app.
