Project Area of Specialization Computer ScienceProject SummaryOur project tries to develop an online platform which facilitates the final year projects (FYP) process. The whole FYP is a year-long process involving groups of students and their supervisors to accomplish a project based on real life problem/ complex engineering problem. It is very necessary to employ the latest technologies in order to allow different parties to contribute and communicate more efficiently. Therefore, we have designed and developed a comprehensive web-based system to better support the different kinds of users.
Students are advised to create their groups online along with mutual acknowledgements. Also they can make online submissions which will be directly submitted to their advisors and thus can keep track of their progress.
Whereas, the advisors will have all the associated projects submissions and can provide markings on our application.
Thus, our project will be useful for different parties in FYP involving Chairman, Project Coordinator, Supervisor, Industrial Advisor, FYP Students, and FYP Examiners.
Project ObjectivesMaking it easier for the FYP Faculty (including Department Chairmen) in order to manage and track the FYP activities faster and safer.

Benefits of the ProjectOur project is an online system for managing final year projects is mainly targeted for students of computer science department. This system won’t only reduce the workload of students but also of teachers mainly supervisors and most importantly project coordinator. Not only this but this system will also help in organizing the data in a systematic manner along with saving the precious time of the University and definitely the cost. The system is made in such a way so that supervisors not only view the report but also give his remarks and evaluate the performance accordingly. Project coordinator, who will admin all the modules will view all the profiles, getting reports about each group and their performance. He can make necessary announcements to let students and supervisor know about important things and will be able to generate automatic emails to the students.
