we are working on a fluid flow analysis of human heart stent for cardiac patients before and after recovery which includes literature review for fluid flow i-e blood which is a non-newtonian fluid whose viscousity changes at every point and for flow we try to work on simulation  of blood flow using ansys and design and manufacturing of human heart stent using CREO parametric software after which we basically try to built correlation between stented coronary artreis and analyse the flow patterns through our simulation software by putting the parameters and boundary condition to get to our objective.

Project Objectives

one of the prime purpose of our project is to analyse the blood flow using stent in those artries which gets blocked due to fatty substance in a coronary arteries of human heart which supplies blood to the heart muscles and this is all going to be done by using simulation software ANSYS and for design of  different material of stents we made our three stent models using CREO which is a designing software after which we are going to manufacture our products..

Project Implementation Method

From the introduction of stents, nobody was able to predict the advances that will occur in stent technology over the upcoming decades. Since their appearances, it became evident that this device had significant limitations, such as vessel occlusion and/or restenosis. Despite that, this medical device is the best clinical solution for cardiovascular vessel occlusions. Stents require a deep analysis, in terms of thrombogenicity, manufacturing process, geometrical aspects, and mechanical performance, among many other characteristics. The surface quality obtained in their manufacture process is crucial to blood compatibility, prevents the activation process of thrombosis, and improves the healing efficiency. The forecast stent market makes necessary continuous studies on this field, which help to solve the medical and engineering problems of this device, which are in constant development. Stents have been the center of many research lines over the last decades. The present chapter aims to summarize the state of the art of this medical device in the last years in the fields of design, manufacturing, and materials.

Designs of stents are always changing and may have different effect on adults, children, male and female patients that need to be investigated through such studies

Results of Flow analysis when compared with patients data may also provide any changes required in future design geometries and materials of stents
