ENERGY EFFICIENT SMART SOLAR POWERED BASED SMART COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
Every cell phone, laptop and IOT devices uses internet connectivity. Every device needs wireless connectivity through wireless router. The number of users of internet are increasing day by day, because nowadays everything is going online and needs internet connectivity. For internet connectivity we use Wi-Fi routers. As the number of devices increases, we need more routers for uninterruptible connectivity. These routers consume a certain amount of electricity and also consumes some space. As the devices increases, the power consumption increases and more space is occupied by the routers.
Energy-constrained wireless devices are typically powered by batteries that have limited lifetime. Replacing or recharging wireless device batteries can sustain the network’s normal operation. This situation calls for a new technology by which wireless devices can constantly replenish themselves with energy from the solar and ambient energy.
Using the renewable energy can decrease the electricity usage of routers and will be energy efficient. Transparent solar panels are used which can be attached to any transparent window. It will consume less space than ordinary router. a wire free system in which wireless communication is carried out with help of transparent solar panels which are attached to glass windows or see through object. The solar panels will receive the radiation and generate the electricity that will be provided to the wireless router/device. Our whole system will be pasted on a glass window.
The main objective of this project was to design an energy efficient communication system. The transparent solar panel are used in the system so that they can be attached to the glass windows. The designing of a charge controller for the charge from the solar panel to be stored in the battery and then supply the current to the Wi-Fi router.
Theproject would be handy.
It can be pasted on a glass window or any see through object.
The project consists of two portions i.e. transparent and non-transparent. The transparent portion can be pasted on window while the non-transparent portion can be rested on the shelf of the window.
Multiples devices can be implemented on a building windows to create a cooperative communication.
Inhouses and farm houses, this type of communication system will develop communication without conventional energy sources.
In university campuses and small communities.
The system will be used in office buildings and tall skyscrapers which need energy efficient smart communication.
The system will be used in remote areas with shortage of electricity.
In skyscrapers, the communication will be held through smart solar based communication system.
For Vehicle to Vehicle communication, the smart window communication will be used.
For wireless internet connectivity in buses and trains.
We have designed a system which is totally wire free and is powered by renewable energy source and the system is capable of performing switching operations in between the main source (solar) and Backup power supply. The system is also capable to operate in absence of both sources at backup power supply which is charged through renewable energy source as well as from Backup Power source. And the designed antenna having a return loss of 15.4091 dB at 2.4GHz. Achievement of a sufficient bandwidth was done by utilizing microstrip line technique. Antenna designed is optimized to cover WLAN. The designed antenna is very to fabricate as well as very compact and is fed through a 50? transmission line that makes it attractive for current and WLAN applications.
