We've manufactured a device that analyses the consumption rate of the user and on the basis of that a alysis it forecasts the number of units could be consumed at the end of month and also forecasts the amount of bill by with respect to the tariff of the distributor.
Over device will connect to the user over Wi-Fi so the user can see this data on the html page or Android app.
Project ObjectivesA solution to a very common problem in our society regarding to unexpted billing of the electricity. User will able to see the numbers of units consumed in current month and on the basis of that consumption rate our device will predict the amount of units possibly consumed at the end of month. If the billing amount is exceeding the budget of user, the user will take more precautions to reduce the consumption of electricity to reduce billing amount.
Project Implementation MethodOur poject will calculates power with the help of current and voltage reading. This calculated power will give us kWh units of the electricity. This will give us the consumption rate of the user and the basis of that reading that device will forecasts the number of units could be consumed at the end of month.
Benefits of the ProjectElectricity users will able to keep an eye on their consumption. The amount of energy consumed in every hour, day and month. This data will be visible on any device with internet browser and can be also seen on the Android app built for that device. On the basis of consumption rate, our device will predict the amount of units possibly consumed by the user at the end of month. This will aware the user if the amount of bill is exceeding their budget.
Technical Details of Final DeliverableOur device measures current and voltage with the help of sensors. From that data, power is calculated and with the help of Real Time clock (RTC) we'll able to Calculate energy in kWh. This data is time stamped in the microcontroller and from that data consumption rate of the electricity by the user is extracted. This data is displayed over html page and also on the Android over Wi-Fi. User will able to see graphical interface on Android app and simpler view on html page on the web browser.
