ECG monitoring system using IOT is an IOT based project for monitoring the health of the patients. It is an android based integrated application through which we can monitor the health status of the patient from a long distance. Patient will apply the apparatus on his hand or chest and the system will collect data after monitoring. Then the data will be sent to the related doctor, after which doctor will further tell instructions to the patient. This application can be used by the family members of the patient on which they can easily have a track of the health status of the patient. Everyone can easily use this system by having a simple knowledge about how to install the system and how to get the output form the system. Many sensors will be used in this system such as heart sensors, temperature sensor, ECG sensors etc to have a check on the patient's health.
The technical deliverables for this project can be split into three categories.
1. Documentation
Project documentation contains the requirements, project understanding, design
diagrams and user interface prototype with test document.
2. Hardware Deliverable
Hardware deliverable will be a setup that contains different sensors connected with all
sensors, jump wires, lcd by means of an Arduino board. The Arduino board will be the processing
unit that act as bridge between devices and mobile application. Sensors include
ECG sensor, heart sensor, pulse sensor, GPS module and temperature sensors.
3. Software Deliverable
Software Deliverable includes the cross platform mobile application for controlling
and managing the appliances and sensors. It will provide interfaces for controlling
bread board manually, enabling/disabling sensors, checking sensors status and
readings.
