 The project is about Automatic Car Washing system. As the technology is upgrading day by day and everyday it creating our life easier, so we have to take advantages of these advancement. This project is about washing the car automatically without any manual process, which will save not only our time, but also it, will minimize the labor as well as work will be more efficient. The project consists of electric (AC & DC) motor automatized brushes controlled by legitimized PLC controller. The processes will consist of pre-washing, washing, brushing and drying. Our major part in this project Is about software section in which we have the following task to do.

Project Objectives

To identify a vehicle there is a unique identification number given to each vehicle. Vehicle plate number. Vehicle plate number helps us to identify the vehicle uniquely. In this project, we will be extracting the Number of vehicle from number plate using a technique called vehicle number plate detection. For that we will install a pi cam on the entrance gate of washing hall which will capture picture of the number plate Then using that picture we will be comparing that number from our database and if they are not found in our database they will make entry and if already exists in the database then add number of washing time to that vehicle and we will make certain decision on this database weather to granted the discount or not and many more.

An auto car washing system is design in SCADA user interface, in which we use ladder code to send information. Deferent process performed in this system from PLC generating code to perform that task.

GUI of SCADA we can see all options (benefits) in HMI monitor. It is for the purpose to make the project more users friendly.

In the start of the washing system, the user will press the start button on HMI screen to start the processes.  As we know that, the process consists of four steps when GUI will send integer 1 to PLC it will send correspond to response of first 1st step. If it is performed, the PLC will send the code integer 1.  .when the step 1 is performed it will change the colors to indicate that the first step has been completed .similarly this processes will repeated for all four steps. Including

(full service ,partially wash, price, and other benefits etc.).
