Malnutrition, infants? mortality, and stunted growth of children have been the most serious health issues. Pakistan is facing a crisis in terms of malnutrition. According to the National Nutrition Survey conducted by Government of Pakistan in 2018, 4 out of every 8 under 5 children are malnourished.

Project Summary

Malnutrition, infants’ mortality, and stunted growth of children have been the most serious health issues. Pakistan is facing a crisis in terms of malnutrition. According to the National Nutrition Survey conducted by Government of Pakistan in 2018, 4 out of every 8 under 5 children are malnourished. UNICEF suggests that Nearly 10 million Pakistani children suffer from stunting. To tackle above mentioned problem healthy intake of food is very necessary. We will design a diet plan recommendation system for the children dealing with malnutrition, using Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning algorithms, based on advices of specialists like, nutritionists, child specialists and neonatologists who will also provide us with relevant data.

Project Objectives

Objective of this FYP is to provide proper diet recommendation for patients dealing with malnutrition issues, based on specialist's advice. For example, dietitians, nutritionists or Pediatrician

Project Implementation Method

We will use Python to implement Machine Learning algorithems to make an AI based system to help patients dealing with different types nutrition-related health issues.

1. This system will prove to be a handy tool for people wanting to keep track of their diet, and keeping it healthy.
2. It will also help them save their time that they would have wasted in a doctor's waiting room otherwise.
3.  It will help parents keep track of their little-one's eating shedule.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

• Final deliverable will be an app that will first of all ask user's to fill a pro forma and take input from them e.g. user's weight, height, or age.
• Then it will process that information by applying certain ML algorithems to generate an intelligent diet plan.
