Project Summary
Time Bank is a community exchange network where services and goods are exchanged for time rather than money. This is in the form of reciprocal service exchange whereby units of time act as currency. The unit of currency is usually valued at an hour’s worth of a person’s labour. An hour of human being is as important as any hour of any other. By this simple rule it gives humans the real value they have. Our project is based on implementing the Time Bank management system at the institute level for students. The students can register to the android application and acquire services from other students on the exchange of time credits i.e. time currency. The purpose of this project is to help the students connect, encourage them to actively help the community and be aware of what’s happening around them.

- To provide new and positive ways for students to connect
- To improve confidence and self-esteem of students
- To allow students to handle time critical tasks effectively
- To help students save their money by using time credits
- To strengthen the sense of community within individuals
- To improve learning at institution
Project Implementation Method
The android application has been implemented on Android Studio for the students. The admin panel is implemented as web interface for the authentication of students that are registered.
