Project Summary

Our project is mainly concern with the impacts of climate change on jhelum river so we will find the future changes in temperature and the flow of jhelum river basin.

In this we will also cover the sediments in Jhelum river.

Also, the study of irrigation on Jhelum river.

The Jhelum basin is likely to face increased flow on an annual and seasonal basis in the future, except in the summer. The basin would also face more temporal and magnitudinal variations in mean flow and peak flow in the future

Project Objectives

The main objectives of the study are;

•To study the temperature change of Jhelum river basin due to climate change.

•To study the effect of flow (high flow, low flow and mean flow) due to climate change.

Project Implementation Method

we will collect all data that are 

• Vegetation Parameters

• Topographical Parameters(elevation, slope, flow direction, flow accumulation

• Soil Parameters (Bulk Density, Texture, Infiltration capacity)

• Average temperature, max. temperature, min. temperature

We will prepare an input model for GIS and will compile and caloborate and validate the data.
