The commercialization of thermoelectric cooling technology has been built on the BizTez alloys, which have had no rival for the past six decades around room temperature. With the discovery and development of more promising materials, it is possible to reshape thermoelectric cooling technology. Here we review the current status of, and future outlook for, thermoelectric cooling materials.
Project ObjectivesOBJECTIVES
The scope of this project is in line with instructions and policy identified by the World Health Organization (WHO) for preserving vaccines. It will allow the health department of the government of Pakistan to reduce their dependence on other countries for preserving vaccines by saving millions of dollars. The advanced Covid-19 VSP Module shall be equipped with striking features like data logger, PV panel for charging in presence of sunlight, GPS tracker. Temperature based sensor for warning, AC, DC port for charging as well. The recommend Covid-19 VSP Module shall be scaled and modified for other vaccines required for viral and infectious disease. The project will easily compile in available resources in University of Engineering and Technology Khuzdar, Pakistan.
Project Implementation MethodMETHODLOGY
Peltiermodule consists of thermoelectric couples (n and p type semico nductor legs) that are connected electrically in series and thermally in parallel configuration and are soldered together, sandwiched between two ceramic plates. The latter form the hot and cold side of the thermoelectric cooler (TEC) . The configuration of modules is shown in figure. commonly, a TE module consists of the following parts.
1) Regular matrix of Thermal Electric elements-pellets.
2)Ceramic Plates
3) Electric conductors
4)Leading Wires
5)Solders
BENEFITS:
All medicines, vaccines and inhalers require specific light, temperature and other storage/shipping conditions. If not taken care properly properly, they may not work as intended but also pose a potential risk to consumer's health.
This paper presents a solid state, cold chain solution for vaccination drives in remote areas of Pakistan, especially poliomyelitis eradication campaigns. Poliomyelitis (commonly known as polio) virus attacks motor neurons of central nervous system which leads to paralytic appearance, most commonly in limbs.
The only polio endemic areas in world are Afghanistan, Nigeria and Pakistan. Although there is more than 99% reduction in polio cases since 1980 but as long as single child remain infected there is potential risk of spread as it could result in 2 million new cases every year [1]. It is one of the few diseases that can be prevented but can not be cured, and vaccination being the only prevention technique. There are two types of polio vaccines used all over the world, Oral Polio Vaccine (OPV) and Inactivated Polio Vaccine (IPV)

We will be successful in designing a system that fulfils the proposed goals. However we do realize the limitations of this system. The present design can be used only for maintaining a particular temperature. Thermoelectric refrigeration is one of the key areas where researchers have a keen interest. Cascaded module architecture has defined new limits for its application. Moreover recent breakthrough in organic molecules as a thermoelectric material promises a bright future for TER. With more and more countries showing interest in Montreal and Kyoto protocol, TER is gaining more attention as an affordable, reliable and a green refrigeration alternative.
