Project Objectives- Hardware prototype of home energy management system.
- Monitoring Real time energy consumption of each load.
- Development of an application for controlling every load.
For the Implemetation of Home Energy Management System the algorithm used were based on the following categories:
- Rule-Based Method
- AI Based Method
- Optimizatin Based Method
- It gives user a contol over each load to be used.
- User can monitor the loads used.
- Real time monitoring and feedback of loads helps to reduce energy consumption.
- It give ease of physical involvement by using only Application.
The main final deliverable was a Hardware prototype of the home energy management system. In which the main target was to monitor the loads. For this the ac/dc current and voltage sensor modules were used. When the data can be collected then the next step was to show that details to user using some system. For that the process of developmet of an android application was started. The application allows user to monitor the real-time energy consmption as well as complete control over each loads. For controlling part an arduino microcontroller was used.
