When new students come to university, they face several issues regarding timetable, that where it is displayed, and it also changes with time.
Another issue is of big shopping malls, customer find difficulty in finding the location of their desired product.
We will provide solution to stated problems in form of an embedded system.
Our idea is to provide a user friendly platform to common people.
It is basically an artificial intelligence based digital assistant which will assist/help the users for different purposes, you just have to enter the information.
The user will give the command and it will perform according to user requirements.
It will also be used for information retrieval on voice commands.
It also have face detection functionality, It will distinguish between users and admins.
It will detect the face of admin and display it with its name.
The aim is to guide the users in solving their queries and needs.
It will provide easiness to common person in gathering the information, just by entering a specific command or through voice command also.
Voice command can be very affective in crowded places.
The user will press push to talk button and give command to the system.
The system will perform speech to text.
Natural Language processing will be used to understand the text.
Query will be generated.
Data/Information will be retrieved from database by query.
Data/Information will be showed on screen and user will also hear the information from speaker.
Development/Testing Phase:
Speech to Text.
Natural Language Processing for English and Urdu.
Database (MangoDB / sqlite).
Face Recognition.
Implementation:
Each module will be combined and implemented with Raspberry Pi or Arduino.
Performance will be checked with both the devices.
It will be used frequently if it is placed in big malls, universities, pharmacies etc.
Available all the time i.e.24/7.
Flexible service architecture for future extension
It ease the difficulty of customers in finding data, products, users will feel free to use it.
There is also minimum time utilization.
This system will be very helpful in almost every department and customer service centers.
Video recording feature can be added for security purposes, through this the admin can easily catch the user immediately who will provide any damage to the system.
