Project Summary

The vital idea is to provide every opportunity for traders to carry out successful trading which is otherwise unsuccessful due to inadequate information. This project attempts to design and implement a dashboard which contains a predictive system for guiding gold market investment. Using NLP and Machine learning algorithms we will be projecting the effects of news on gold market. The dashboard would also contain news articles from various authentic resources filtered with the relevance of gold market. Our integrated system will also be cloud based so that it could efficiently accessed and used timely data for analysis and to provide these services to traders world- wide.

Project Objectives

1. To bring AI ML in gold pricing technical analysis and fundamental analysis.
2. Create correlation between News and price change to help traders to take decision.
3. To achieve maximum accuracy in prediction using strong data sets.
4. To make a cloud based system to deliver it worldwide.

Project Implementation Method

1)Technical Analysis:           

For technical based analysis we have to work on prediction of short term gold trend using RSI and Moving averages for different days ,both of which we have calculated for last ten years

2)Fundamental Analysis:

For Fundamental analysis we have to predict long term gold trend for which we have to analyze economic calendar, twitter, and different news and blogs and its effects on gold market.

After both of these analysis we can safely say that we would have both long term and short term trend predictions of gold market. We can then estimate the prices over those short term and long term trends for our end users.

3) Dashboard:

We have chosen Dash and plotly for developing our dashboard. As we want our data to be real time and have minimum delay when updating interactive charts and data. Dash can also be considered as an extension for flask application and work efficiently.

4) Cloud Services:

For future we also want our dashboard to be deployed over cloud. For that purpose we are either going to use cloud service or connect it to a server. Dash has the is capable to connect to both these services. It usually runs on local host for testing and thereby it is easy to deploy it over a server.

5) Testing

For testing purposes we are going to use the services of an open source application named meta trader. It is an electronic exchanging state broadly utilized by online remote traders for trading.

Benefits of the Project

We expect to deploy such a system that would allow traders from all over the world to have adequate information for trading of gold at any time and place. With this project we not only intend to benefit the international market but most importantly Pakistan’s economy which would in turn improve if trading gets more efficient and traders have a decision support system to guide their investments.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

A dashboard that provides analyss of various indicators used for trading and will provide prediction based on those indicators that are used for trading. Economic data, News that afect gold market will all be available at th dashbaord, twitter word cloud, what the top 10 traders are thinking at the moment and how their tweets and blogs are impacting the market will also be displayed over the dashboard. The system will be using clouod sevices.
