Online shopping has becoming more popular, people are moving towards buying  clothes online. They want to see how the clothes that we find on Internet would fit and suit us and are we buying the right size and style.

The goal is to develop an android app that helps customer purchase clothes online, after trying them on using their personalized mannequin.They will be able to see their mannequin in the real world through our app using augmented reality.

Project Objectives

Our objective is to develop an android app that helps customer purchase clothes online, after trying them on using their personalized mannequin.They will be able to see their mannequin in the real world through our app using augmented reality.

Project Implementation Method

The customer will be provided an option to pick a body avatar similar to theirs in size. After choosing the avatar, customer have to hold their phone in that direction where he/she wants to place the mannequin. This will provide the customer 3D view of the clothe placed on the mannequin which will be helpful to choose the item which fits and can purchase that item.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

Our final product is an android app that is being developed on android studio.  

We are using ARCore in our project that is developement kit developed by google that allows for augmented reality applications to be built.

Also we are using firebase database to store user's and products details.
