Chaff cutter cum pulverizer is a multi operational farming machine which is used for chopping and grinding animal livestock.The various type of fodder can be processed in this machine are green grass, corn straw, maize, wheat, millet and gram etc. The design of machine makes it safe and reliable as compared to conventional fodder cutting machine. By combining two mechanisms in a single frame gives various benefits: Occupy less space for installation, reduce cost, labor and time consumption.

Project Objectives

The major objective of this study includes:

• 1. Designing and development of multiple purpose animal fodder cutting machine.
• 2. Performance evaluation of newly developed machine.

Project Implementation Method

• The conceptual computer aided design of machine will be prepared in the CAD software as a solid model with assembly function as per the requirement.
• The Simulation/Analysis of machine  will be done on Ansys and solidworks.
• Estimated specification of materials like sheets and rectangular pipe and some avialiable components like pulleys, belt etc  brought from local market which then converted in to physical model by a  fabrication work.
• Manufacturing of parts like shaft, cutter wheel, blades etc and Assembly of machine done in local mechanical workshops.
