Project Title

Hockey playing robot

Project Area of Specialization Information & Communication TechnologyProject Summary

I decided to develop a hockey playing robot which is operate
through android application running on a mobile phone. This robot will act like hockey player. It will totally controlled through Mobile Application. In Android application ,there are several buttons which is perform different functions .This robot move left, right, forward, backword and kick ball through stick.

Project Objectives

The main objective was to introduce technology in the field of sports so that human injuries and failures can be minimized without compromising entertainment opportunities. This is my motivation of Final Year Project. Robots can perform dangerous and accurate work to increase the productivity as they can work 24 hours without rest.In today’s world ,technology has revolutionized every field of life.

Project Implementation Method

It has also revolutionized sports in terms of online gaming, robot fighting, in sports like football, tabletannis etc. So, that the project has a great scope in future sports or games based on robots and as the world is ready to replace humans with robots.

I will try my best to apply this project on national as well as international level forcompetition of hockey sport.

Benefits of the Project

So, that the project has a great scope in future sports or games based on robots and as the world is ready to replace humans with robots.Feasibility is that a hockey playing robot will be less costly as compared to humans
because contract with players, there is need of manpower, their expenses, luxuries etc. Luxuries are too much costly. But in the case of a robot spent only once which is at the time of development. It will hit the young generation who idealize the modern technological environment.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

Android studio is used for Application.
? Arduino UNO
Arduino is an open-source electronics platform based on easy-to-use hardware and
software.  Arduino boards  are able to read inputs - light on a sensor, a finger on a button, or a Twitter message - and turn it into an output - activating a motor, turning on an LED, publishing something online. You can tell your board what to do by sending a set of instructions to the microcontroller on the board.
? And materials of electrical are used in robot like dc motors, batteries, wires
etc.

? Batteries
Battery 9v, The Defibtech Lithium 9-Volt Battery is used to self-check the Lifeline AED daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly. The 9-volt battery is inserted into the
battery pack.

? Bluetooth module
Hc-05 bluetooth module. HC-05 Bluetooth Module is an easy to use Bluetooth SPP
(Serial Port Protocol) module, designed for transparent wireless serial connection
setup.
