The proposed system Business Intelligence for Electric Supply Company (BIESC) is to improve the decision-making process by giving future predictions on the available energy dataset. This system will be based on four modules. The first module will be data extraction. The second module will be data transformation. The third module will be data analysis and the fourth will be data visualization.
BIESC is intended to help any organization to manage and predict business affairs in near future. The objective of BIESC is to provide ease in the decision-making process for electric supply companies so that they could easily improve the limitation faced by the company.
The system is composed of four modules which are Data Extraction, Transformation, Data Analysis, and Data Visualization. In the first step we will develope a crawler which will crawl company's website and download all the required data, and then this data will be preprocessed and stored. Further, business intelligence algorithms will be applied on the data for prediction and data visualization for reporting and presentation.
BIESC can manage all data about the progress reports, future predictions, and then the visualizations of data needed by the companies and investors. This system will work efficiently. This system will also serve as a decision-making platform as the investors can easily decide by monitoring the data where to invest. Users will be able to get the concerned information in graphical form and monitor the hurdles coming ahead in near future for the success of the company.
The front end will be designed using php, html, css and javascript. The transformation of data and crawler will be developed using PHP. The database for the system will be created on MySQL. For the prediction of future value BI algorithm will be used.
