This project is about maintainance of Budget of a normal person having the income and expense record as well as prediction of budget by income and scaning of expense bill and to determine what kind of nature the bill has. 

Project Objectives

? The first objective is to insert an entry for income and expense and maintain the
record for previous income and expenses in an android phone which can be easy to
get whenever user want.

? The second objective is to learn the application about making budget statement so that
the application can prepare a predicted budget according to user requirement and their
previous expense record.

Project Implementation Method

? User can add individual income and expense according to current or previous date
and can search their income and expense entry according to their starting and ending
date.

? User can prepare a budget according to their income statement. For that, income
entry is compulsory to be added in order to make a new budget.

? For expenses, user can scan a bill and the system will return the nature of the expense
as well as the amount which is being paid and then entered in the expense criteria.

? The system will be using machine learning techniques to prepare a budget prediction
and this will be a contribution for user to get their predicted budget according to their
previous expense record.

Benefits of the Project

This project is significant in aspect to the users, who have salary based income and always
make a monthly budget in order to fulfill their expense in limit amount. Users will get a good
interface to use the application and can bring their own solutions to their budget preparation.
Budgetify has a unique function to predict a budget for the user who have recorded the expenses as the user will not have to enter the manual amount what they have done in other
applications.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

? There will be only one person who will use the application.
? New user will be register first as this application doesn’t have any dependency of
internet and SQLite database is been used, so it will sign up a new user.
? User will set the income and expense individually.
? User can scan a bill and it will get the nature of bill and total amount. This will be
fulfilling using OpenCV and OCR.
? User can set their source and categories as per their need.
? User can view the overall statistics of what they have entered in the application
? User can prepare their budget by manual or by prediction.
